Wrightstown Community School District

Quality Education for Every Student

TEACHING AND LEARNING

TEACHING & LEARNING

The District's Teaching and Learning Department oversees all aspects of our teaching and learning program. Fundamentally, we are committed to ensuring all students learn at grade level or higher. Our curriculum is designed to be representative of all our students and is aligned with the Wisconsin Model Academic Standards. Our work is focused and grounded in Wrightstown’s mission for “quality education for every student.” The foundation of our approach includes a coherent curriculum, sound instructional practice, strategic assessment, and authentic literacy, all designed to support each individual learner. Through this comprehensive focus, students are empowered to pursue higher education, enter the workforce, or follow a pathway that integrates both.

  • Welcome to the Wrightstown Community School District Human Growth and Development curriculum page. Please take time to review the outline of our curriculum and the associated parent opt-out letters. If you have any questions or would like to inspect the complete curriculum and instructional materials please contact High School Principal, Eric Ward, or Middle School Principal, Collette Wilichowski. Please note that no student will be required to receive instruction in human growth and development or in the specific subjects if the student's parent or guardian files with the teacher or school principal a written request that their student be exempt. Any student opting out of this curriculum will receive alternate activities.

  • For the 25/26 school year we are undergoing a resourece audit.  We are taking this year to examine the great things that are happening in all classrooms.  Thank you for your patience as we complete this process and update our resource layout.
