The Finance department collaborates with administration, staff, taxpayers, and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction to help organize and prioritize the district’s financial needs to support the district. This collaboration results in a balanced budget that is presented at the annual meeting each September and a property tax levy set each October.

Property Tax Impact

The school district sets the property tax levy each year at the October Board meeting.  The tax levy is divided by the Equalized Property Values (Fair Market Value) within the nine municipalities in the district to establish the mill rate.
