SCHOOL CLOSING INFORMATION
INCLEMENT WEATHER:
Student safety is our number one concern! The decision to cancel school, delay classes, or release early is based on the safety of the roads, students exposure to extreme temperatures, as well as timing and severity of snow storms. Reports from National Weather Services, the local Highway Department, the Sheriff's Department, and other local school districts heavily influence these decisions. Weather is monitored throughout the night and early morning and a decision is made between 5am-6:30am.
If school is not called off but parents think that it should be, parents have the option to keep their children home or pick them up early if they feel that it is in the child's best interest. We ask that parents call the school to inform staff of the child's absence or early pick up. The student(s) will be given an excused absence, per policy.
