Our August Summer School Session will be held Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am - 11:00 am for one week. (August 24th - August 27th).

4K Here I Come 

Let’s get ready to go to school! 4K Here I Come is designed for incoming 4K students. They will have the opportunity to become familiar with their learning environments and meet new friends. Students will be with the same 4K teacher they will have for the school year. We are excited to meet our newest Wrightstown Tigers and help them become familiar with their new school!

Kindergarten Kickstart 

Let’s get ready for some kindergarten fun!  Kindergarten Kickstart is designed for students entering kindergarten in the fall.  Students will be introduced to kindergarten routines and expectations through fun and engaging activities.  Throughout the morning, students will be interacting with new kindergarten friends, participating in literacy and math activities and will take part in moving their large and small muscles through indoor/outdoor play and exploration.  We look forward to helping your child get ready for Kindergarten!

I’m in the Middle Now 

I’m in the Middle Now will include lessons on study skills, strategies for getting organized, and a plan for being successful middle school students. This course will help students review strategies taught in the elementary school and apply them to middle school. Students who take this class will also explore a variety of activities and situations that are relevant to middle school students. (students going into 5th grade) I'm in the Middle Now will be held at Wrightstown Middle School, but students will begin their day at the elementary and walk over to the middle school with their teachers.

Freshman and New High School Student Orientation – August 25 8:00 - 12:00

Welcome to our High School Summer Orientation, a dynamic and interactive program designed to help incoming freshmen and new students smoothly transition into our school community. Led by our dedicated Student leaders, students will participate in engaging team-building activities, practice finding their lockers, and go on an exciting school-wide scavenger hunt. They will also walk through their actual A-Day and B-Day class schedules to meet key teachers and get a real feel for their daily routines. The day wraps up with a Q&A session and lunch, ensuring your student feels confident, connected, and ready for their first day of school.

If we reside in the WCSD boundaries, but our children do not attend WCSD, can they still participate in Summer School?  

Yes, they may participate in the WCSD summer school program.

If we do NOT reside within the WCSD boundaries, can our children attend Summer School at WCSD?

No, WCSD Summer School is only offered to students living in our school district boundaries. 

Please view our district boundaries page to determine if you reside within the WCSD boundaries. 

STEP 1: EXPRESS INTEREST THROUGH A PARTICIPATION FORM - BEGINS IN FEBRUARY

Purpose: This helps us anticipate how many students are interested and in what subjects. Completing participation also ensures your child will receive all necessary communications and can register for classes once registration opens.

How:

• WCSD Families will complete this in Skyward Family Access.
• Parochial School Families must enroll annually in Summer School by going through the resident enrollment process. This is required to be certain your child is entered correctly into Skyward Family Access, so you may eventually complete registration and the course selection process.

STEP 2: REGISTRATION - BEGINS IN MARCH

Purpose: This allows us to know important information about your child to keep them safe and organized during summer school. We will ask for things like emergency contacts, bus pick up/drop off location (If using bussing) and some health information. 

How: Both WCSD families and parochial school families will complete this through Skyward Family Access. 

STEP 3: CLASS SELECTION - BEGINS IN APRIL

Purpose: This is where you actually select your summer school classes for your child. This is first come, first served arena scheduling. Once classes are filled, we cannot add additional students. 

How: Both WCSD families and parochial school families will complete this through “Arena Scheduling” in Skyward Family Access.

Yes. However, we recommend using a computer or Chromebook if you have one available. If you must use a phone or tablet, please complete summer school tasks via your browser (e.g., Safari, Chrome) rather than the Skyward Mobile App. You may not be able to complete some processes via the Skyward App.

PERSONAL CONDITIONING – JUNE thru JULY
(Registration typically opens in March)

Families will use THIS FORM to sign up for Personal Conditioning. It is NOT necessary to complete the Participation Form or Registration Form in Skyward. Please simply complete the Google Form.

BAND – AUGUST
