COVID-19 Guidelines

Dear Wellness Center Members,

We are excited to announce that the Wrightstown Wellness Center will reopen to community members and students on Monday, July 6th.  As the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic continues, we are monitoring the situation closely and following the guidance from the CDC and local health authorities to implement up-to-date health & safety guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the potential risk of exposure to our students, staff, and community members.  As a result, we will be restricting the capacity of the Wellness Center to 25 individuals working out per hour.  For the time being, all classes will remain cancelled and community members will need to self assess for COVID-19 symptoms and risk factors when signing up for a time slot either online or by phone call.

The Wrightstown Community School District cannot guarantee that you or members of your family will not become infected with COVID-19.  Subsequently, participation or attendance of activities offered by or on the grounds of Wrightstown Community School District is voluntary.  It is recommended that individuals who want to participate in or attend activities in public places consult with their physician to gauge their own health risks during the COVID-19 pandemic. MASK REQUIREMENTS

On Thursday, July 30th Governor Tony Evers issued a statewide order requiring Wisconsinites to wear a face mask when inside public buildings to slow the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.  Under this order, Wisconsin residents ages 5 and older are required to wear a face covering when they are indoors or in an enclosed space with anyone outside their household or living unit. The Wellness Center falls under this mandate and will require members to wear a mask in our facility beginning on Monday, August 3rd. A list of exceptions and requirements for mask wearing are listed below:

Mask Required

  • When entering and leaving the facility

  • When performing any low-intensity exercise such as weight-lifting or walking on track

  • When moving from one piece of equipment to another

Exceptions

  • When performing cardio on a Treadmill, Stationary Bike, Elliptical, AMT, SciFit One Step, Stepmill, or Rower

  • If members have a medical condition that prevents them from wearing a face covering

  • Taking a drink of water

  • Catching a breath between exercises

Your health and safety continues to be our number one priority during these unprecedented times and we thank you for your support
