The Wrightstown Community School District is hiring!!We are looking for 1-2 part-time special education instructional aides to support students in classrooms!
This is a great position where you can help students on academic and life skills with the teamwork of the other teaching staff. The hours are varied and would be about 24-27 hours per week during the school year. The schedule is 5.5 hours during the school day Monday through Friday with a lunch break. The person hired for the position would follow the school schedule, only work on days that students are in session, and would have a great work environment! It is a perfect position that still allows you to be home with kids before and after school. Benefits include Wisconsin Retirement System, 5 paid holidays 3 sick days, and a free membership to the Wrightstown Wellness Center! Please apply on WECAN website or email: kaufman@wrightstown. Announcements -Monday, December 9th The Wrightstown Robotics Team competed at Menasha High School Saturday against 46 robots from across Wisconsin. All five teams from Wrightstown High School participated in the tournament finals, a WHS record! Our team 1790B "Bacon Bytes" consistently ranked second place throughout all qualification rounds and reached the semifinals resulting in qualification for state. Team 1790B "Bacon Bytes" members include Connor Kohlman, Collin Jepsen, Spencer Kohlman, Beau Koltz and Mason Hendricks. Wrightstown High School is proud of your hard work! Congratulations to the dance team on a 1st place in Division 3 jazz this weekend at Ashwaubenon. They will get ready for the Little Chute Invite this upcoming weekend. Way to go, Ladies! The December FFA meeting and Christmas party will be this Thursday, during both lunch periods in the food science kitchen. Please support the forensics team by eating at The Pizza Ranch in Ashwaubenon tonight from 4:00-8:00. Team members and coaches will be working at this time and will earn ten percent of all sales. Your support is appreciated. Attention Seniors: Sign up for this year's senior play is in the senior hallway across from Mrs. Ludtke's classroom. All seniors are invited to audition. Please only sign your name if you'd like to be in the cast. Students interested in being in the crew should see Mrs. Ludtke. Auditions are Jan 3 at 3:30. Today is the last day to turn in volleyball registrations to Mrs. Grovogel or Mrs. Ludtke. Students interested in extra help with any kind of post high school planning, can meet with an NWTC Career Coach in the counseling office anytime today. Current Youth Apprenticeship students please have your evaluation forms turned into Mrs. Prodell prior to Winter Break. Snowball Court Members please plan to attend a quick meeting in Ms. Herrick's room tomorrow during homeroom. If you can help Mr. Doell divide up the orders 8th hour and/or after school that would be greatly appreciated. For those of you participating in Sunday's Holiday Volleyball Bash, you can see what time your first game is and who you'll be matched up against by checking the brackets outside of Mrs. Ludtke or Mrs. Grovogel's rooms... let the competition begin! Students interested in playing baseball this spring should sign up in the front office. The following students must see Mrs. Barnes today: Leah Lemke, Luis Arvizu and Madison Valley. Sources of Strength students - we have a meeting in the cafeteria during homeroom today. If you cannot make it, please let Mrs. Barnes or Mrs. Van Dyke know before the meeting. Friday, December 13th Best of luck to the dance team as they travel to Little Chute tomorrow to compete at the holiday invite. The girls compete Pom at 1:50pm and Jazz at 4:00pm, which is right before awards. Good luck! Next week we'll be having themed Dress up Days, starting Monday with: Are you on Santa's Naughty or Nice list? On Monday wear GREEN if you were Nice this year, and RED if you were Naughty!! If you are NICE enough to give generously to the annual Food and Toy drive homeroom competition, you can bring your donation on MONDAY to the LIBRARY Monday morning by the food and toy display and get raffle tickets for a mystery Christmas present!! The food and toy drive runs throughout next week, please consider donating non-perishable food and new toy items for sick kids at Children's hospital!! Check the posters around school to see the themes for the other dress up days.
