Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), held its National Leadership Conference in Anaheim on June 29-July 2, 2017 in Anaheim, California. Wrightstown FBLA advanced 16 members to compete at Nationals: Amber Lamers, Business Law; Miranda Pleshek, Database Design and Applications; Robin Schroeder (a 3-time national qualifier, only one other Wrightstown member has achieved this) & Raelia Pennenberg, Emerging Business Issues; Spencer Fitch, Help Desk; Josh Verhagen, Insurance & Risk Management; Kayla Westphal, Intro. to Business Communication; Conner Geurts, Jacob Lewandowski, Evan Mathu, Management Decision Making; David Joslin-Pleshek, Isaiah Ley, Leah Voster, Management Information Systems; Logan Cieslewicz, Sales Presentation; Nick Lischka, Spreadsheet Applications; Carter Eggert, Word Processing.

Seven Wrightstown FBLA members competed at Nationals: Kendall Bentley, AgriBusiness; Brandon Bourassa & Grant Thiel, Management Decision Making; Hannah Kugler, Spreadsheet Applications; Nick Lischka, Database Management & Design; Calvin O’Connell, Impromptu Speaking; Robin Schroeder, Business Communication.
These individuals represented Wrightstown well. Kendall Bentley finished 5th in AgriBusiness and Brandon Bourassa and Grant Thiel finished 8th Management Decision Making at FBLA Nationals!
2015 National FBLA Qualifiers, Chicago, IL
Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), held its National Leadership Conference in Chicago on June 29-July 2. More than 10,000 of America’s best and brightest students traveled to the Windy City to Step Up to the Challenge (this year’s FBLA theme) as they showcased their talents as future business leader of America. These participants from across the United States attended this exciting conference to enhance their business skills, expand their networks, and participate in more than 60 business and business-related competitive events. Five Wrightstown FBLA members advanced out of the State competition and competed at Nationals: Mark Diny, Help Desk; Patrick Froehlke, Database Design & Applications; Jacob Heezen Business Law; Julia Niemeier, Business Communication; Robin Schroeder Intro to Business Communication
2014 FBLA NATIONALS
Carlie Servais competed in the Database Design and Application event at the FBLA National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tennessee on June 29–July 2. Over 10,000 conference participants from around the country and the world were in attendance to sharpen their core business skills, expand their networks, and participate in more than 60 business and business-related competitive events.
2013 FBLA NATIONALS
Wrightstown advanced five of its members to the National competition. Julia Niemeier, a sophomore, competed in FBLA Principles & Procedures. Justin Lemke, a junior, competed in Help Desk. Andrew Gilles, a sophomore, competed in Computer Problem Solving. Scotty O’Connell, a junior, competed in Business Communication. Travis Westphal, a sophomore, competed in Introduction to Technology Concepts.
The Wrightstown FBLA would like to thank Bruce & Deborah Gilles for their very generous financial donation to Wrightstown FBLA the past two years and each of the students’ parents for making the trip to Nationals possible. This was a great experience for these student, and it will be one that they will not forget.

2011 National FBLA
In June of 2011, three Wrightstown FBLA members advanced to the National FBLA Leadership Conference in Orlando, Florida. Those student were Cameron O'Connell, who placed 1st at state in Impromptu Speaking; Jordan Johnson, who placed 2nd in Database Management and Design; and Sammie Grode; who place 3rd in Business Law. A special thanks to the businesses and organizations that made donations to make this trip possible.
2009 National FBLA
In June of 2009, Andrew Scott advanced to (and was able to attend thanks to donations made by local businesses and organizations) the National FBLA Leadership Conference in Anaheim, California. Andrew placed 1st at state in Desktop Application Programming. Unfortunately, Mr. Doell forgot to bring along a camera to take pictures of the trip.
2008 FBLA Nationals
In June of 2008, five Wrightstown FBLA members advanced to the National FBLA Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. A. Scott placed 1st at state in Introduction to Technology and competed at the national level. A. Roundy placed 3rd at state in Introduction to Business and competed at the national level. C. Klika, M.
