Dear Parents and Guardians,
We have so many wonderful things to celebrate as we close out 2022. We are excited about our students’ upcoming performances for holiday concerts, the opportunity to celebrate with the seniors in the community at the FBLA Christmas event, and the start of the winter sports seasons. Students and staff are well on their way with all of the learning and growing that happens during the first semester of every school year. It has been a great school year so far!
The Wrightstown Community School District is pleased to report that the District ‘Exceeds Expectations’ on the 2021-2022 School Report Cards. As a District, we continue to exceed the achievement, growth, attendance, and graduation readiness goals that have been set by the State of Wisconsin. Our students continue to do well and our staff remains committed to meeting the District mission of providing a quality education for every student.
The Department of Public Instruction is required by state statute to generate a school report card and district report card for every public school and district in the state of Wisconsin.
The overall accountability ratings are based on a 0-to-100 accountability score in each of the priority areas. These scores are displayed on the front of each School Report Card. Based on these accountability scores, a school or district receives a corresponding set of stars.
Wrightstown Elementary School: Significantly Exceeds Expectations

Wrightstown Middle School: Exceeds Expectations

Wrightstown High School: Exceeds Expectations

The current School Report Card is primarily based on last year’s performance, the 2020-2021 school year. At the foundation of the report cards are four priority areas. Schools and districts receive a score for each priority area:
- Achievement proficiency in English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics on the annual state assessments
- Growth measured by year-to-year progress in ELA and math achievement
- Target Group Outcomes measured in outcomes for students with the lowest test scores: the Target group
- On-Track to Graduation showing reliable predictors of how successfully students are progressing toward completing their K-12 education.
As a District, we can use the information contained on the School Report Card to help us better meet student learning needs. We are always looking for ways to improve student achievement in our schools and classrooms and the data from the report card helps guide some of those improvement efforts. The results on the School Report Cards demonstrate the continuous efforts of District staff and administrators on reading and math instruction and classroom strategies and practices related to engagement, relationships, and learning for all students. The dedication to focusing on students first and the commitment of continuous improvement by District staff is represented in the school report card results.
Please let us know if you have questions or concerns about the School and District Report Cards. We look forward to continuing our work with you as an educational partner for your child. Together, we are #wcsdStrong.
Sincerely,
Carla M. Buboltz
District Administrator
