MONDAY, APRIL 24th, 2017
Do you have an eighth grader? If so, please go to the Wrightstown Middle School Home Page and select "What's Happening in Class" link, on the left-hand side and view the "Cardboard Challenge" video created from this project. Be sure to watch for your 8th grader. The students thoroughly enjoyed this creation and writing project while practicing some 21st Century Skills!
There will be a Middle School FFA Meeting this Wednesday morning during homeroom. You will meet the candidates for the 2017-2018 Wrightstown FFA Officer Team. The FFA State Convention, Agriscience and Food for America will also be discussed. Just a reminder that the FFA Spring Plant Sale order forms are due this Wednesday!
Attention 8th graders: The High School Color Guard will be in the gym, during recess, this Wednesday, April 26th, to do a demonstration and answer any questions regarding this fun high school activity.
Any middle school students interested in having an original piece of artwork on display for the 2017 Fine Arts Night Art Show on May 17th, please be sure to have completed art work turned in to Ms. Seidl before May 1st. If it is artwork completed outside of art class, please be sure to have Ms. Seidl pre-approve it before submitting. Be sure to include your name and grade on your artwork.
All students planning to play middle school football this Fall: there will be a Parent Meeting on Wednesday, May 3rd at 5:00 in the Middle School Gym. The meeting should last about 30 minutes.
Bellin Health will be here on Thursday, May 4th offering Sport Physicals for $20.00. All the money paid for the physicals will be donated back to our school. Space is limited. Please go to the MS home page and click on the Sports Physical permission slip under Monthly Newsletter/Flyers and information. Permission slips and Physical forms are due back by Friday, April 28th.
Next week Friday, May 5th is "Cancer Awareness Day" where everyone will be encouraged to wear YELLOW. Mr. Delebreau will be shaving his head at the assembly (Friday, May 5th) IF WE RAISE $450.00. All money raised will be donated to Cancer Research. Please give your donations to your grades' designated teacher or your homeroom teacher.
The WMS Junior Optimist Club will be having a Brat Fry and Bake Sale at Dick's Family Foods on May 13th. With the profits, the club will make tie blankets and donate them to the St. Vincent Pediatrics Wing. (Parents of Junior Optimist members will be asked to bake something for the bake sale - a sign up genius will be created for sign up. 3rd Quarter Report Cards are posted online. Please visit the school website: www.wrightstown.k12.wi.us/mid and click on the Parent tab at the top of the page. Scroll down to the Skyward Family Access tab. When you are in skyward, click on PORTFOLIO to view your child's report card. If you need your skyward login or password, please call the office at 532-5553 and we will give you that information.

Shout out to the 7th and 8th grade track team on their great performances at last night's track meet. The woman who started all of the races complimented our students on their manners and attentiveness. Great Job!
Do you want to help fight cancer by donating to a great cause? Do you want to see Mr. Delebreau get his head shaved during an upcoming assembly? If so, please remember to turn in your money donations to Mr. Sukow, Mr. Schuh, Mr. Harry, and Mr. Haese. We this morning, we have collected $167.00. That means that we still need to raise $283 dollars! Don't gorget to keep donating so that we can sting cancer and help Mr. Delebreau get a new hair style. If everyone would donate $1.00, we could easily make the goal of $450.00!
